Associate Fellow

Isha Dayal is working as an Associate Fellow at NCAER. She holds Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Public Policy from Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore, Master of Science (MSc.) degree in Economic Development and Policy Analysis from the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A. Honours) degree in Economics from Miranda House College, University of Delhi. She has been a Research Fellow with the World Trade Institute (WTI), University of Bern, Switzerland, as Swiss Government Excellence Scholar. Previously, she worked at Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations (ICRIER) as a Research Associate. Her research interests include trade policy, competitiveness, political economy and development, with a focus on trade facilitation measures, transport and transit, value chains, and regional integration, and has worked on an edited volume and research articles on these themes. She has contributed to research design, questionnaire design, data collection methods and analysis for several studies. Her professional experience also includes consultancies with United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and with Infrastructure Development Finance Company (IDFC Ltd.).
