Isha Dayal

Associate Fellow

Isha Dayal is an Associate Fellow at NCAER. She has earlier been a Research Fellow with the World Trade Institute (WTI), University of Bern, Switzerland, as a Swiss Government Excellence Scholar. She has also worked as a Research Associate at the Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations (ICRIER). Her research interests include trade facilitation and development, value chains, competitiveness, political economy, and issues concerning climate change; and she has worked on an edited volume and articles on these themes. She has contributed to research design, data collection methods, and analysis for several studies. Her professional experience also includes consultancies with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Infrastructure Development Finance Company (IDFC Ltd). She holds a PhD in Public Policy from Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore; a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Economic Development and Policy Analysis from the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom; and a Bachelor of Arts (BA Honours) in Economics from Miranda House College, University of Delhi.
