Isha Dayal


Isha Dayal is working as a Consultant at NCAER. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Public Policy from Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore, Masters of Science (MSc.) degree in Economic Development and Policy Analysis from the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom, and a Bachelors of Arts (B.A. Honours) degree in Economics from Miranda House College, University of Delhi. She has worked as a Research Fellow with the World Trade Institute (WTI), University of Bern, Switzerland as Swiss Government Excellence Scholar. Prior to that she had worked in Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations (ICRIER) as a Research Associate. Her research interests include political economy, trade policy and development, with a focus on trade facilitation measures, value chains, and regional integration, and has worked on an edited volume and research articles on these themes. Her professional experience also includes consultancies with United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and with Infrastructure Development Finance Company (IDFC Ltd.).
