Its research covers almost the entire horizon of policy-focused applied research in economics, from macroeconomics to poverty and consumer behaviour. NCAER offers a wonderful place to grow and groom yourself into a policy economist. A vibrant, dynamic academic environment with both world-class faculty and physical infrastructure. If you run into a writer’s block, there are lovely views of Delhi. If you want to unwind, play a game of table tennis or badminton. Or just a lovely walk around the campus with a colleague to spur your creativity.
NCAER has an active research programme on climate change. It has decided to grow the programme further in response to the increasing urgency and demand for policy solutions to challenges posed by climate change. It is in discussions with multilateral institutions, international and domestic donors for technical partnerships and financial resources.
