Data Analyst – Tableau Developer

Job Description:

NCAER is looking for a young highly skilled and motivated Tableau Dashboard Developer and Visualisation expert to create customized and interactive dashboards. The candidate should have solid expertise in data visualization, analytics, and in-depth understanding of Tableau. The selected candidate will play a primary role in designing, developing, and maintaining Tableau Dashboards using extensive time-series data across various sectors of various states of India. The goal is to deliver visually compelling dashboards and reports that provide deep insights into state level and inter-state performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, design and maintain customized dashboards using Tableau.
• Create interactive visualizations that allow users to explore trends, patterns, and insights across states and time periods.
• Design and implement new and innovative visualization styles, incorporating recent trends, maps, themes, and other advanced Tableau features.
• Generate state-specific reports and presentation decks that highlight key insights using Tableau’s report generation capabilities.
• Refine and optimize visualizations as per the needs of study.
• Ensure all deliverables are completed within strict timelines for the study.
• Strong interpersonal skills, a flexible and cooperative attitude, and the ability to work effectively with study team and people at all levels. 

Requirements:

• Masters in Economics/Public Policy/Data Science from a reputed University in India or abroad
• Minimum 1-2 years of demonstrated experience with Tableau development and data visualization and creating professional dashboards, especially with time-series and multivariate data.
• Advanced knowledge of Tableau as well as its integration with other tools like Excel, SQL, and R or Stata for data pre-processing and transformation.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate economic data into intuitive and insightful visualizations
• Strong ability to work independently while following guidance from multiple supervisors.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting data insights clearly and effectively.

Compensation:
