Macro economic analysis
Macro trade/other reforms analysis on unregistered small, medium informal enterprises
Senior Consultant with the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) in their initiative in mainstreaming gender to study the impact of trade liberalization in African countries
Involved with international agencies such as IDRC, DFID, Ford Foundation, CIDA, UNDP, World Bank, USAID, the UN
Involved with key ministries of the Government of India, others Indian agencies such as pubic sector units, Petroleum Federation, State Governments, etc
Joint research with NGOs such as self-employed Women's Association (SEWA), All India Artisans and Craft workers Welfare Association (AIACA).
 
  Current Projects
 
IFPRI-IAASTD-AKST Project: Funded by the International Food Policy Research Institute, USA to study the " Impact of agriculture knowledge and technology as global outcomes and regional outcomes over the next 50 years " . Within project selected as a Coordinating lead author of one chapter of the Global Assessment by the Advisory Bureau of the IAASTD secretariat of the World Bank.
USAID India state fiscal management reform- I: Funded by USAID through Bearing Point Global Operation, New Delhi to develop " State Wise Database " .
USAID India State Fiscal Management Reform - II: Funded by USAID through Bearing Point Global Operation, New Delhi to develop " State Wise Input-Output Models " .
Examining Employment Figures in the Handloom Sector: Funded by AIACA's, New Delhi to generate discussion on the lack of accurate employment data on the handloom sector and suggest recommendations for improving the accuracy of data collection efforts in the sector, especially through regular handloom censuses
