The new NCAER India Centre is being developed on NCAER’s current campus situated in the heart of the nation’s capital. A new, state-of-the-art office tower will flank a central plaza, also containing a new multi-purpose conference centre and NCAER’s renewed legacy building. Red sandstone cladding will pay tribute to Delhi’s heritage preserved in the nearby Red Fort. The Centre will be a four-star, GRIHA-certified, green complex. The foundation stone in the lobby of NCAER’s existing building was laid by Pandit Nehru on October 31, 1959, and will be joined eventually by the new foundation stone laid by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
