The library's collection development policy is
guided by the Council's research requirements as well as a broader policy
toward making it a prominent resource centre in the area of economics: new
areas include health care infrastructure development and the informal sector
among others. The library collection comprises of books, reports, and back
volumes of journals and electronic resources, maps and microfiche.
